| Wristech Blood Pressure Monitor
The Wristech Wristband Blood Pressure Monitors are a new innovation that makes taking your own blood
pressure easier and more convenient. The Wristech has a Velcro band that straps onto the wrist rather than the arm
cuff of traditional blood pressure monitors that can be clumsy to put on by yourself.

Once the Wristech is strapped on, hold your arm above your heart and press the green button. The
wrist cuff automatically inflates and within a minute from the time you pressed the button, the large display shows
your blood pressure and your heart rate. The Wristech also stores your previous 48 readings along with the date and
time that they were taken so that you can keep track of your progress if you are trying to lower your blood
pressure.
A professional nurse who purchased the Wristech said that it is actually quite accurate, but it has to be used just
as the instructions describe, with the wrist held above the heart. If you don’t do this, the reading can be off by
as much as 20 points. Most of the complaints from users who did not like the Wristech were exactly that. That the
readings were off from what their blood pressure read at their Doctor’s office by about 20 points. However, some of
these users were aware of how different the reading was compared to at their doctor’s office and were willing to do
a little math rather than forego the convenience of the Wristech. Many people who were happy with the Wristech
liked it for its portability. Some people need to monitor their blood pressure regularly and find the typical
monitor with the arm cuff, bulb, and separate readout device quite inconvenient to carry around.
